Round two of my shoot with Kate and Nate!! This one is so diggity dope, I can’t even handle it. It was a beautiful Sunday and we hiked up to the top of Peace Hill and then made our way down to Denis Bay. Kate and Nate jumped in the water at the end and made all of my in water session dreams come..
Gahh these two are so near and dear to me. I met Katie and Sean through photographing her brother’s wedding and instantly fell in love with them. I got to do their engagement session on St. John where we adventured around through some spots that are no longer there after the hurricanes, so looking back on those images makes them even more special. And then their wedding day..
This nightttt! This one just filled me right up. I’ve been wanting to shoot out in the area where I live on St. John for so long, it’s just so secluded and quiet and freakin beautiful. It’s hard because it’s not right where all of the white sand/teal water beaches are so it’s been a hard sell. But when I was talking to Kate and Nate, the sweetest local couple who lives on St. John as well, they mentioned that they were..
Let’s just talk about the fact that Lena was in a dance group in high school called the Bomb Squad and she broke out the moves on the wedding day. And also Jay’s first car was a burgundy Volvo and they drove away in that as their exit car, and Jay wore bright red thick framed glasses as a kid and his brother printed out his school photo in poster size for his speech.. or that they had the best ceremony exit ever. This day was full of the biggest damn smiles and solid belly laughs and yeah. When I think about..
So you know when you have those moment of synchronicity? Where it feels like everything lines up for one split second and you have the whole world in your heart for just a moment? That’s how this shoot felt. One of my favorite parts of photography are these moments where everything just connects for..
This day was a dream, and my first wedding of the New England wedding season for me last year. It’s always the best feeling coming back to New England in the summer/fall, feeling ready for that change in the air and so excited to spend wedding days cozed up with couples turned friends and their closest people on their wedding day. Katie and Rob held their wedding in Camden, Maine at the Whitehall Inn. This place is so cute you guys, every bit of it was quiet and beautiful and quaint. After the ceremony everyone..
This day this dayyyyyy. Pauline and Olivier came to St. John for their elopement, looking for an intimate and quiet ceremony and quality time spent together while they tied the knot. There is something to be said for doing this, these two got a cute place in Coral Bay with an amazing view, and they got ready together, Olivier helped Pauline into her dress, they put their shoes on together, and we left ..
Gah! This weekend. I love these two so much. I got to spend so much time with them over the last year and honestly I was sad when the wedding was over because we didn’t have anything else planned together. Now I’ll be patiently waiting for them to return to STJ for their anniversary. BUT for their wedding weekend, they kicked it off with the welcome party at Drink, getting to hang with all of their guests by the water. On their wedding day, we hung out at Sirenusa while they got ready, and spent quality time with their families. From there we had their first look at Hawksnest on their own little private part of the beach followed by
