Ohhhhhhh boy this wedding. This was a dream. Right around the time that Katie and Joe had contacted me about shooting their wedding in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, I had been thinking about how I so badly wanted to shoot a wedding there. The sweet little colorful cobblestone streets, and all of the feels that you get when you're there, it's a photographers dream. There's so much substance and culture and the thought of a wedding celebration there just sounded so good. Talk about dreams coming true I tell you!

I knew Katie from when we had worked together at the Maho Bay Camps back when it was still there on the North shore of St. John. Taking it back to 10 years ago since I had met her, it was so amazing that I got to be there to shoot her wedding day. Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous. They both got dressed and ready at the El Convento with their wedding party and closest family and then we all made our way to the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista across the street. Their ceremony was so beautiful, inside of one of the most magical cathedrals I've ever seen. From there we walked around the streets of Old San Juan taking photos and taking in the goodness. After we made our way back to the El Convento for dinner, dancing, speeches and cigars.

This was just was one those seriously dreamy days, and Old San Juan definitely did not disappoint.  Check it out!
